When you think of travelling for a caravan trip, then its not only exciting but thrilled enough for you to spend your vacations with your family, but if there is not good travel preparation then it might turn out into a nightmare. When you start packing for your caravan trip, some things are very necessary to be included as your travel preparation. You should know some of the items that has to be packed for your travel in caravan. Let us know about these things in little detail.
The first thing in your check list while you start travel preparation for caravan trip is ‘Number Plate’ of caravan, which has to be brought or permanently attached. Most of the time you have a risk that you tend to forget it. You should also do something with wastewater drainage, as you are not sure that whether your campsite is equipped with any drainage site. Thirdly, in your caravan trip checklist you must have leisure batteries as these are necessary when you need larger output of electricity. Travel preparation is never complete until you have electric hook up lead that allow you to hook up your caravan to any campsite’s electricity supply, spare tyre and stand that is needed when your vehicle’s tyre gets punctured, mirror extensions for safety purposes, hitchlock for protecting your baggages, wheel lock for anti theft and safety kit etc.
When you start your travel preparation, you need to have your own maintenance kit that would have all small things needed if your vehicle undergoes any small breakdown. You should take care of every member of your family and must have medical prescriptions and medicines along with you. be precautionary in your travel preparation and you must carry a first aid bag along with bug spray to keep yourself and your loved ones protected from any kind of dangerous bugs. Fire blanket, fire extinguisher, Smoke alarm , SPF sunscreen lotion and Stabiliser are other items that you should include in checklist of your travel preparation towards caravan trip.
