They promote certain travel package and convince you for a particular travel packages that they get from their tour operators. The general set up that travel agents use are setting their offices on the main road, inside the shopping malls or ground floor of any landmark building. The basic responsibilities of travel agents are selling travel products and tickets, package tours etc. They may also serve you as general service agents who will make travel arrangements for you. They act as ticketing agent from the supplier companies and help you in getting best deals of ticket as well as accommodations and meals for the travel destination you wish to visit.
